Ranger Station

The Ranger Station is your one stop to shop. We’ve thought of everything to make your entire stay convenient and fun! Shop from our HUGE inventory of groceries, snacks, camping supplies, fishing gear and bait, cleaning supplies, household items, souvenirs and more! Everything you need is here in the Ranger Station, open 7 days a week, in season. Stop in and take a look!

Campfire Canteen

The Campfire Canteen is our on-site pizza and ice cream café. Open to the public Fridays through Sundays, in season. With an extensive menu that includes pizzas with all the toppings your heart desires, calzones, jumbo hot dogs, Johnsonville bratwurst, oven-roasted wings, chicken nuggets, nachos with cheese, and more. Orders are available for take-out, with delivery service available for an added fee on non-holiday Friday and Saturday evenings. If you would like an ice cream treat, we offer 12 flavors of Hershey’s hand-dipped ice cream in scoops, cones, waffle cones, and sundaes … with all of the toppings, of course!

Golf Cart Rentals

Renting a golf cart for your stay can add to the enjoyment of your vacation. In order for you not to be disappointed, we strongly suggest that you reserve a golf cart when you make your camping reservation.

There is a 3-day minimum rental for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends. Golf carts may be reserved in advance for 2 or more nights (3-night holiday weekends). Full payment required for all advance reservations.

Golf Cart Rental Rules:

  • All Drivers must be at least 21 years of age with valid driver’s license and must present their driver’s license at the camp office to receive a wristband that will allow them to be a user of the cart.
  • Limit of 4 licensed drivers per golf cart. All drivers will be required to wear an age verified wristband while the golf cart usage is in progress.
  • Golf Carts may not be driven off of the campground property and may not be used on any bridges or off road trails. If caught on the public roads by the local police, the driver is subject to be ticketed.
  • The number of passengers at any time on a golf cart is restricted by how many people can legitimately be seated on a seat of the golf cart at one time. No lap riding, sitting on dash, or standing at the rear or sides of the cart is permitted.
  • Keys must not be left in the golf cart when not in use. Always make sure that the brake is fully engaged when parked.
  • No excessive honking of horns while driving or when the golf cart is parked.
  • Do not park golf cart facing in any downhill position as it may roll away.
  • Driving while intoxicated is not permitted.
  • Violation of any of these rules subjects all users of the registered cart to lose their golf cart privileges and the golf cart will need to remain parked for the remainder of the stay.

Personal Golf Carts

In order to better enjoy your vacation, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ at North Port Huron does allow the use of a personal golf cart. Use rules are available at the camp office.

  • There is a flat rate of $15 for the first 4 days, $5 for each following day for the use of a personal golf cart on campground property during your stay that is required to be paid at the time of booking.
  • The owner must provide proof of insurance to the park at check-in and fill out the Personal Golf Cart Agreement and Rules form
